You know, I read a couple of articles about that yesterday, but when I read that the thief's name was Shirley, I thought it was a woman who robbed Miss Lynn. However, in watching the video that Bob provided the link to, I now realize that Shirley is a man!! I wonder if Barney would have concluded he was a case for ol' Sigmund Frood. I mean, perhaps the shame and embarrassment of being a man named Shirley drove the guy to a life of crime. Too bad Barney isn't around to delve into his psyche and find out. I was also amused to hear the lady reporter call her "Betty Lou Lynn." Seriously, though, I am very sorry that Betty Lynn experienced this. She's a real sweetheart. I'm just glad she wasn't hurt.
