I contacted HLG Licensing in Statesville, N.C., about the products they are working on with CBS Consumer Products for collectibles associated with the Andy Griffith Show 50th Anniversary NASCAR car. HLG's president, Reed Nettles, e-mailed me that they are planning on a die-cast collectible car with a 1/24th scale version minimum. In comparison, the Johnny Lightning Mayberry squad car die cast pieces from a few years ago that are Hot Wheels size are 1/87th scale (HO in model train size lingo). Nettles said he would update when additional information becomes available.
