"Floyd Lawson disarms escapees and then keeps them preoccupied so that
Sheriff Andy Taylor is able to take one at a time."
You can buy a copy of the gazette here...

Our own "Floyd", Allan Newsome, might be able to help you with the photo. :)

Need info - on the Mayberry Gazette featuring Floyd, what do the smaller
headlines say? Under the line "Deputy Barney Fife Was Also Held Prisoner"
there's a line which begins "Floyd Lawson -, etc. which I've never been
able to read. Can anybody help me out? Also I love the picture of Floyd -
does anyone know where I can get a print of it? Thanx and lots of luck to
you & yours!
