A few weeks ago we discussed Floyd only using a scissors to cut hair. This
morning I watched a Leave it to Beaver episode and our good friend the
Bookie Barber Mr. Medwin was a barber in Mayfield and he had a two chair
shop. (Every notice that there is a Mayfield, a Mayberry, and I live on
May Street). Well to make a short story longer, the two barbers were both
using electric clippers to cut Wally's and Chester's hair. And they were
actually turned on as you could hear the buzzing sound. They didn't use a
scissors at all. So makes me wonder again why Floyd chose to use just a
scissors. We know he practiced on cats so probably had to use the scissors
as the electric clipper noise would have scared the cats away,
