When Barney was reciting the preamble to the constitution to Andy, Andy
took hold of the American flag in the courthouse and shook to give Barney a
clue. I think too that people were waving little American flags when the
gold truck went through Mayberry. Barney also had the flag on his
"motorcicle" after he fixed it all up. Kids did the pledge of allegiance in
school in the episode "Andy Discovers America".
