In the episode with Jeff Pruitt he says his neighbor Bertha can pick more
tobbaco than him. As far as I know that is the only time growing tobbaco was
spoken of in TAGS. Quite a few barns were shown on the show, the Flint barn,
the Frisby barn, the Jubal Foster barn, the Tate Fletcher barn, and the barn
that Eddie Brooke hides in. In every one of these barns we see hay but no
tobbaco. And in all of the times we see someone driving in the country, no one
passes a tobbaco field. That is strange since North Carolina plants more acres
in tobbaco than any other state in the union. Strange.
