In today's mail I received 75 letters from the school kids where I recently did a program on TAGS. A great part of my program was about clubs and summer fun and safety. I used clips and slides I made from the episode "Keeper of the Flame". I also shared a video clip of my electric trains traveling through my two Mayberry Villages. Please bare with me, but I just have to share just one of the letters. It is so precious.

Dear Mr. Anderson,

Thank you for coming into Pepin Elementary and talking about the Andy Griffith Show. I remember when I was little I had a little train set that looked just like that. I even passed it down to my little twin cousins. I have a club that meets just in by the playground at school. Also thank you for teaching us to have a safe and fun summer. I don't know if I can have a safe summer with my sister around. We're always getting into trouble. Even though I've never watched the show, but the first little bit I watched made me laugh my head off. All of are secrets in our club are top secret. But do you want to know what its called? I can't tell ya.

Sincerely, 4th grader
Maggie

All the other letters were just as special. The teachers also wrote letters and they all said the kids are still talking about Mayberry and how different it was when I was a kid.

Just had to share that with all my good friends on the digest.
