I was watching TVLand over the weekend, and they showed the Carter and
Wakefield Fued show. When the two men were getting ready to fight the duel,
Andy pulled out his pistol and fired it into the air. I know that Barney fired
his pistol several times, and that Andy fired a long gun at crows and skeet,
but can anyone else remember Andy ever firing his official sheriff pistol at
any other time? In the show with Thelma Lou's cousin, at the end they showed
Karen shooting the pistol and Barney shooting his pistol, but I do not think
Andy shot a pistol.
