This is for the Schwamp aficionados out there. I just finished watching the last episode of season five, "Banjo Playing Deputy," and I noticed a possible appearance by Mr. Schwamp. I say "possible" because one can only see him from the rear. Therefore, there's probably no way to get an "official verification" on this, but I thought I'd throw it out there and see what you think.
His appearance occurs 5:22 into the episode. It's just after Andy has talked to the owner of the Sultan's Favorite show and is walking through the carnival, right before he (literally) runs into Jerry Miller. While Andy passes one booth, a man is throwing a ball at a stack of milk bottles. This is the man who looks like Mr. Schwamp. He even throws the way I would imagine Mr. Schwamp throwing. I checked the Mayberry Historical Society, and this episode is not listed for him. Anyone else think this looks like Mr. Schwamp?
