I could be wrong, but I believe Glen Cripes was a baritone. But like you that
never made sense to me. Loosing one person would not destroy a choir. Also
"John" the choir and play director always seemed pretty impressed with his own
importance. EVERYTHING, no matter how minor became a drama to him. (No pun
intended) Having said all that, any of the episodes where Barney "thinks" he
can sing are my favorites. Probably because I like to think I can sing, but my
family and friends are not quite so kind as Andy. They feel free to share with
me their feelings about my voice or lack thereof as they would tell you.
