Hey, Mayberry friends. Mayberry Days in Mt. Airy is always special and this year,(56 days, I'll try to be patient) should be extra special when we celebrate the 50th Anniversary of TAGS. But anytime you can visit Mt. Airy please go. Recently I was there on a weekday with my dad and a friend and we visited shops, Floyd's City Barbershop and Snappy Lunch without all the hustle and bustle of the crowds. We took the squad car tour with a hefty discount, and had a good visit with Mr. Russell Hiatt at the barber shop (he even took our picture himself). We also enjoyed the famous Pork Chop Sandwich without having to wait in a long line. So visit Mt. Airy at a slower pace, you'll enjoy it.(they didn't pay me to say that).
