TAGSRWC's "Barney's Bird Dogs" chapter is trying to find someone nearby
with a Mayberry Squad Car replica they can bring to the Hayden Auto Daze
Gone By Festival in Hayden, Ind., on Sept. 4. They'll feed the car
owner and crew and provide some gas money.
In addition there being lots of antique autos and trucks on display,
bluegrass and gospel bands will play many of the songs heard on The Andy
Griffith Show. Other Attractions during the festival: Blacksmith Shop
demonstrations, Pie Baking Contest, Chicken BBQ dinners, 5K Run & Walk,
and a Classic Car & Truck Parade at 11:30 and 4:00.
