Hey, Mayberry friends. While watching an old Gene Autry movie this morning with my Dad (he's 80 and loves his westerns) I spotted two Mayberry alumni. One was Fred Goss, real name Fred Sherman. He wore an old hat and had a handlebar mustache and was hard to identify but when he spoke there was no question. Then from "The Perfect Female" episode was Gail Davis (Karen Moore, who outshot Andy). She was Genes love interest. She later had her own series "Annie Oakley. I just watched about 15 minutes, there were probably more. Ain't this fun! 'Course I learned this from taking Barney Fife's eyewitness identification course.
