BEA is the diminutive of BEATRICE (a nick) and BEE is the way it's pronounced.? And "Bee" is the way it is spelled in the show....... One of the best examples is in the episode where she opens the Chinese Restaurant with Charlie. It's clearly called "Aunt Bee's Canton Palace."
