A dear friend of mine went to visit his home in The Ivory Coast. He sent me two post cards. He mailed them on August 17 and I received them October 3. He had already been back two weeks. It reminded me of Cousin Virgil's postcard that he intended to send Barney. "Yeah, I always like a good crab joke."
