Well said Untrained Voice. Some mysteries are best left unsolved. Mr.
Schwamp is an icon in Mayberry. Why, finding out who he really is would
spoil all the fun of wondering about him and it would end years of
speculation and great conversation. It would be like if he would suddenly
start talking - he would no longer be our unique Mr. Schwamp. Mr. Schwamp
must have wanted his privacy and thus he just disappeared into the sunset
after TAGS ended and I feel we should respect that privacy. My vote is to
not pursue any attempt to determine Mr. Schwamp's true identity.
