Wow, I am overwhelmed at the response concerning the DVD of my life's
accomplishments. In answer to the questions, unfortunately because of the
credits the actual running time of the DVD is only ten seconds. I should
have made that clear in my first announcement. As far as the rating goes,
yes it has been rated. It has been given an "M" rating which of course
stands for "Mayberry Audiences". I did receive confirmation that not only
will the video be available at Dollar Stores, but our own Newton Monroe
plans to sell them out of the trunk of his car. I thought about contacting
Jim Clark about having it at Weaver's Department Store but because it will
not be an official licensed product, he probably will not be interested.
Regarding the time discrepancy with Opie getting the money, the reason Opie
got it at 3:00 was because Barney had said to Andy that Opie had been there
five minutes already so Andy decided to give it to him at 3:00 rather than
the 3:05.
On a final note, I have received the address of Joel Redlin's sister, and I
am contacting her about getting some information about when Joel appeared on
TAGS. For those of you who are not familiar with Joel Redlin, he played
Clara Edward's nephew Ferdie who was going to play his accordion for Keevey
Hazleton when he sang Aunt Bee's and Clara's song "My Hometown".
