The list of doctorates I've seen so far in answer to my trivia question included everal professional degrees (MD, DVM, JD, PharmD, etc.) which are different rom the academic degrees. The ones that might qualify listed so far would be What about Dr. Merle Harmon, PPD. Barn might have gotten the initials wrong, but he was most defintely said to be a "doctor" which did not sound medical. He sounded more like a scientist....... How about: Reverend Hobart M. Tucker, D.D. Frank Smith - didn't he have a PHD?
