I always saw things like Andy telling Barney about the horse in the backyard or
about the buffalo facing the wrong way were more jokes he was playing on Barney
rather that lies. The soloist micrphone story was still a lie even though he
was trying to save Barney's feelings. The drug store caper lie was an attempt
to boost Barn's morale.
Ken, So happy that Aunt Bea as a head now. She just wouldn't have looked
quite right without one. My uncle always said, half of the world is held
together with super glue and the other half is held together with duct tape.
