Hey folks,
Our "trouble check" on Thursday night went well and we had about 9 of us
in our 'test-it-out' meeting so things are ready for Saturday night at
8pm. Thursday was fun so I expect us to have a blast on Saturday!
One of our members did have trouble getting the sound to play through
their computer but nobody else reported any issues. The easiest way to
be a part of the meeting is to phone in using the information below.
A few things to note:
* You can phone in and also use your computer to connect to the chat
room.
* You do NOT have to be a member of "TalkShoe.com" in order to be in
the chat room.
(If you are a member, you can associate your TalkShoe userid with
your telephone number
and show up in the chat room as one person rather than two.)
* You can use "Skype" only if you pay Skype for their "Skype-out"
feature.
(You may have a hard time getting TalkShoe to take the Call ID
but keep trying and it
will eventually work.
* Only one person tried the Facebook app and they couldn't seem to
get it to work, so be warned.
The meeting starts at 8PM but you can "join the call" 15 minutes early
if you'd like, just to be sure you have the hang of things. Phoning in
is VERY easy so don't be afraid to give it a try.
