Actor Bill Erwin died at age 96, on December 31, 2010. Billed as William
Erwin, he appeared in two season 1 episodes of TAGS... "Mayberry on Record"
('investor') and "Stranger in Town" ('George Sapley'). He was also in the
MAYBERRY RFD episode "The Mynah Bird."
Over 60 years as very prolific actor in film and TV, he is usually remembered
as 'Arthur the bellman' in the Christopher Reeve / Jane Seymour romance-fantasy
SOMEWHERE IN TIME (1981).
