One of my favorite NPR shows (after Car Talk) is Wait Wait ... Don't Tell Me!
For them that don't know, it's a comedy show based on the week's news events.

A few weeks ago, October 25th, 2010 to be precise, they had Dick Van Dyke on as
a guest star.  When they asked him about his role in Mary Poppins, he said
whenever he met Englishters (he didn't actually say "Englishters"), they
complained that his English accent sounded very phony.  His excuse is that the
dialogue coach the studio assigned to him was not English, but Irish.  The
coach?  J. Pat O'Malley, who in addition to performing many voices in various
Disney cartoons, also played the con man who wanted to marry Mrs. Bendle-Mright
in the TAGS episode Up in Barney's Room.

I did some checking and it turns out Mr. O'Malley was actually born in England,
but he definitely had an Irish-sounding name.  Anyway, if you're a fan of Dick
Van Dyke you will definitely like this episode.  You can get it from iTunes.
While you're at it be sure to subscribe to Two Chairs No Waiting (Allan's TAGS
podcast), if you don't already.
