When I first met my wife Linda I discovered she had 16 siblings and lived on a farm. That meant her mother did a massive amount of baking and canning. One of her prize canning projects was dill pickles. Being a dill pickle lover I was excited to be getting a mother in law who could provide me with pickles. But I soon discovered it wasn't the great treat I thought it would be. Her pickles were just about the worse pickles I had ever tasted. Strong as could be and rather soggy. But that wasn't the worst of it. To make matters even worse my new wife to be actually drank the juice from those pickles. The first time I saw that I thought I would get sick. I will you one thing, I made sure I did not kiss her for at least 24 hours after she had her last pickle juice.
