Not only do I remember the Grit Newspaper, but I sold it for one week, well at
least I tried. Seems like I remember they sent me 12 copies to try to sell, I
think it came out every week? I think I sold about 5 copies to Mom, Dad &
Neighbors. They sold about like miracle salve. Sent them like 45 cents for
the copies I sold. Had much better luck making and selling those loop
potholders, sold a world of them. Something else back in the 60's, does anyone
remember the spider monkeys for sale in the back of comic books for under
$20.00. I always wanted to order one of those.
