I have an old Hoosier Cabinet that I refinished about ten years ago. A
friend of mine had it in two pieces out in his garage full of tools. He was
going to throw it away. It had about three coats of paint on it. When I
decided to refinish it I found out it was beautiful oak. So I spend many
long hours removing paint, sanding, and refinishing it. Now it is in our
family room with a number of old items in it that my wife collected.
