Angie were there 3 different people (including Virgil) or did Barney break it
twice..once with the slingshot and once with something else?? In my first
office we had those glass-doored book cases, and I never really understood what
the glass was for. We left the door up all the time, so it wasn’t
security..Maybe it was to keep to dust (and flies) off of books?
Or maybe so the books wouldn’t fly out during an earthquake, of a visit from
the count.
Or maybe there were more radical justices-of-the-peace than Andy, and the books
were secured to keep them from literally throwing the book at someone.
It seemed like they were more trouble than they were worth at the courthouse
Maybe they just got dusty from all the sweepin.
