Facebook friend Brian Rodahaver brought to my attention that TAGS actress Patty Regan passed away in Eau Claire, Wisconsin, in 1996. Patty made several TAGS appearances. She was the manicurist in "Goober Goes to the Auto Show" and she also played Renee, the girl in the Raleigh police department office in "Barney Comes to Mayberry." I went to our library and searched our city newspaper archives for her obituary. She was born here in Eau Claire and actually graduated from the same University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire as I did. There are a number of relatives listed so I am going to attempt to reach them to see if I can get any stories about Patty's acting career. This is the second connection to Eau Claire that there is with Mayberry. Joel Redlin, who played Clara's nephew Ferdie, in the Keevey Hazleton episode also grew up here in Eau Claire.
