Watching the 1945 version of State Fair last night, starring Dick Haymes and Jeanne Craine....the announcer in the hog judging pavilion was John Dehner, the Colonel, and he didn't have any elixir with him! And the judge who gave Mr. Frake the Blue Ribbon? Have mercy, it was Ben Weaver!! One of the judges was very familiar like it could have been Otis, but not sure, as they cut away before credits ran. Sure is fun to see some of the old OLD movies and see the TAGS members!!
