Sheryl, I think Betty Lynn is a peach! I met her several years ago at a Mayberry event in New Castle, Indiana. She seemed genuinely nice, interested in people, and appreciative of her fans. That's why I use the name Thelma Lou here on the digest. I have her autographed picture (the one where she's kissing Barney) proudly hung on my wall. I would love to see her again sometime.
