The most interesting thing...or rather, the most *curious* thing happened the
other night, while watching Gomer Pyle.
Sgt Carter went back to Wichita, KS, to visit his Mother and to spend a day
away from Gomer ("I'm Always Chasing Gomers"). It seems that his Mother was
living in the Taylors' house (probably unbeknownst to Andy)!
I kept missing Aunt Bee, and the Wichita airport looked a lot like LAX!
Hmmm... :)
But that brings me to my question - is there a good listing of the locations
for filming for the Gomer Pyle series? I know that 40 Acres was used quite a
bit, but then there were some 'on location' shots, it seems.
