I would like to wish all our wonderful Digest family a very happy Easter. I wish TAGS would have had an Easter episode. Perhaps Ernest T. would have come into town and instead of throwing rocks he would have thrown eggs at all the windows. The Mayberry Band could have led a parade down Main Street and the ladies of Mayberry could have walked in the parade wearing their new Easter bonnets, and Andy could have been the judge to pick the winner. Barney and Gomer could have been in charge on an Easter egg hunt for the kids of Mayberry while Goober could have entered an egg eating contest. Of course being a special occasion the Morrison sisters would have brewed a batch of their elixir and Otis would have gotten gassed. Instead of his usual invisible dog, he could have had an invisible rabbit named Harvey. With a little work John Masters could have put together an Easter Pageant and Aunt Bee could have had the leading role as Lady Easter Bunny. Barney could have had a part too and dressed up as the Easter Bunny and he could have worn the outfit to the dance that night. It would have been just perfect for the Bunny Hop. Well, all this is speculation, as there never was an Easter episode. In any event may all you wonderful people enjoy this most blessed day with your family and friends wherever you may be.
