I have to share a funny story about something that happened at my presentation at the Holiday Inn last night. I was all set up in one of the conference rooms ready for folks to arrive. I was in uniform and had the Whistling Song playing. There was a high school prom group there and when they walked past our room they turned around and a bunch of them came in all dressed in their tuxedos. They were all excited. I heard one of them telling the others that Barney Fife was in the room so the rest of them came in. Turns out they thought I was the real live honest to goodness bonifide Barney Fife. You should have seen their faces when I told them I use to teach at Fall Creek. Talk about disappointment. But then I showed them some slides of my car and showed them my book and I think they were a little bit impressed as they asked a lot of questions and were really quite nice. Guess I was really falsifying and could have been arrested. But the security guard came up to me and asked if he could go home as long as I was there.
