The adventure of the Brownings, while terrifying is still inspirational. At our house when the hail and winds hit, I knew from past experience, a tornado was upon us. In the living room, my mother is bedridden and on a home vent. I joined my mother and cousins. I sat on the bed with Mama. The wind and hail hit the house in circles, counterclockwise. It seemed like it would never end but it did. Then the power went out. With a vent you have a three hour battery, two hours in, I knew Mama was going to have to go to the hospital . I called 911 and explained the situation. To get down our street the fire department had to clear a path from the debris. We were so thankful to see the fire department and power they gave to aid me in getting Mama ready to go . She stayed at the hospital for about 6 hours until the power was back on. In times of emergency little things mean so much. The Brownings thought quickly and shared this time with Mayberry people. The Lord brought you together to be safe.
