Each year my wife and I are honored to be able to drive the Eau Claire Gold
Star Mothers in our annual Memorial Day Parade. We have been asked to do so
again this year. However, they have also asked that I drive my squad car in
the parade. And on top of that they are going to have the Eau Claire Police
Department's Honor Guard walk along with my car. The parade attracts
thousands of people so it will be great for so many folks here to see a part
of Mayberry. Just hope I don't run over any snails.
