I'm sure others will also jump in to let you know that the word is OXYMORON.  
But I just bought a new shiny bucket, so I just wanted to show off how good it 
works.

I wonder if there's a term for those opposites you very rightly pointed out?  
"little big" and "pretty ugly" seem perfectly natural to say, but the meanings 
clash, in a way.  
How about "a lot of nothing" or "big nothing" or even "big bunches of 
nothing"?
