You know these 2 Hunderd-and-two year old people are what are known as
centenarians. You see it comes from the word Cent-u which means 100, Like a
Century is a hundred years..which they have lived. I wonder if they’ve even
eaten centipedes. That’s just a step beyond snails. It would be like having
a hundred little drumsticks.

Speaking of Centennials..In a few weeks is the Centennial running of the
Indianapolis 500. It started in 1911. I wonder if those centenarians listened
to it on the radio. Well, you all know who will be in town on Race Day to Sing
“Back Home Again In Indiana” Jim Nabors, or course. Good ole Gomer. Now the
Mayberry Café is just about 10 miles west of the Indianapolis Motor Speedway,
in Danville Indiana, and Jim has been known to go there in years past. Maybe
he’ll show up this year for the Opie Look-alike contest.
“Do you look anything like a small red-headed boy, Gomer?” I don’t know, do
you think they’ll ask me that?
I’ll bet Conan O’Brien shows up. He has that Opie quality. And what about
JamieSullivan?? Is he out of college yet for the summer.
