Debbie, Yes, I've noticed that window! It sure does seem to meander about town quite a bit. Did it appear in "Barney and the Choir"? Another thing that seemed to appear quite a bit was interior curtains that separated rooms. That was more of the style back then, but it seems that Thelma Lou's curtains appeared in several other stories as well.
