A friend passed along a stack of magazines for me to read, then recycle. Even though it is a little late, I read an article on spring cleaning and de-cluttering your house. They mentioned not holding onto sentimental items if you don't like or use them, and gave as an example "the vase Aunt B gave you". I couldn't help but think that no matter how cluttered my house was, if Aunt B had given me a vase - I'd keep it.
