The big movie opening this weekend was "Captain America". This got me to
thinking back to my childhood and all the comic books I read. I remember on
TAGS that Goober said several times that "Crab Monster" was his favorite comic
book hero.
Which brings up a trivia question. Which comic book hero must have been one
of Gomer's favorites? Gomer at no time mentioned the name of this comic book
hero, you have to figure it out by what Gomer said several times.
One small hint: This comic book hero had a show on TV in the 70's that
co-starred one of the TAGS alumni.
Orville Hendricks - Selling Butter and Eggs in Mt. Pilot. My very favorite
comic book hero when I was growing up was, without a doubt, Superman. I would
go without candy and pop in order to buy Superman comic books.
