Hi gang, I've listed a couple of rare Mayberry items on eBay this week. They are a pair of tankards that were made by Ernst (not Ernest T.) back in 1989 and 1991. These are very hard to find today; I expect most of you have never even seen one before. The first depicts Andy and Opie fishing in a scene from "Big Fish in a Small Town" (the episode where Howard catches Old Sam) and the second shows Andy seated at his desk with Barney standing behind him. These beautiful tankards are not really meant to be used as drinking vessels; I reckon you could use them for special occasions, but never for just plain guzzlin'.
Anyway, if anybody should be interested just go to eBay and search for "Andy Griffith tankard" or do a seller search for my screen name, squadcar.
