Shari, Your story about being a church visitor reminding of something I did at our church several years ago. We were having a dinner after church and I was asked to make announcments prior to the meal. I was also asked to acknowledge the fact that we had visitors joining us. I thought I did a bang up job mixing some humor into everything I was supposed to cover. Then our pastor (who was also a good friend and golf buddy) walked over with a grin on his face. He asked if I realized how I referred to our visitors? I said I couldn't remember the exact words. He laughed and told me I had said "I see some strange faces out there and would like to welcome them to St. Mark's." He laughed and said, "Don't ever tell visitors they have strange faces". After that I never did it again. Just to make sure I have a TAGS connection, "Lotsa luck to you and yours." Everyone have a great weekend.
