I was going through my old Navy diary and listed on Sunday, January 19,
1958, I found this entry:
"Off Midwatch. [Midnight to 0800] Went back over [To Sand Island] to
church. Went to matinee, Scaramouche. Went at night & saw Face In The Crowd."

That was while I was with the Naval Security Group, Communications Unit 43,
Midway Island!
Just in case you are wondering, it is about 1200 miles northwest of
Honolulu.
