I was watching TAGS on the local station this morning when I noticed a rather big mistake. The were broadcasting the 5th episode "Irresistible Andy". While at the Taylor home Opie is describing to Andy and Aunt Bea how Ellie had given him a free ice cream cone. Opie said "She (meaning Ellie) said to me "You're the sheriff's son aren't you"? Well Ellie knew good and well Opie was Andy's son, because just the episode before, when she would not sell Emma Brand her pills, Ellie had already given Opie a free ice cream cone for not saying aint. Andy was right there at the time and he later paid her a dime for the cone. So Ellie was well aware that Opie was Andy's son. Orville Hendricks - Peddling Butter and Eggs In Mt. Pilot.
