It was pointed out recently that official Mayberry Sheriff's Department badges have six points, and not five. Well, that's true enough, but are your eyes are sharp enough to notice them little bitty aphids all the way from your truck, then you might have noticed that in the center of the badge is a little star, and this little star does indeed have five points. Inquiring minds want to know.
