Ken, in geography class, my daughter has been labeling pictures of the globe with all the continents and oceans. And, you know, I may have to exchange that book for another because Old Man Kelsey's Ocean was not listed as one of the answers! Can you believe that? Back to the spelling lesson, today Abigail was doing her lesson, and one of the questions asked which word in her list had the "ch" combination that did not make a hard "k" sound. She was having trouble locating it, so I gave her a hint: "Wally calls it my..." and she immediately replied, "Kitchenette!" Made me so proud!
