I am so glad to see many back on the newsletter. I always look forward to it
everyday.
I am also very glad to see our family newsletter make it to year 20. Even more
so that Lloyd Nolan has made it to 97.
I remember a few days ago we were discussing the bookcase in the sheriff's
office getting the glass broken. It had three shelves. I remember theglas
getting broken on various occassions. Once with a sling shot, once with Barney
shooting , i think, and Virgil. Those come to mind. There are more i am sure.
I know at the end of the series there was no glass on the bookcase. Also, why
on earth has there not been Mayberry RFD on dvd? It would be so great to have
that in my collection. It is similiar with Rifleman. While there are
collections out, no dvd by season, yet. Hope Summers was an alumni of
Rifleman, leaving to go to the Andy Griffith Show.
Next saturday is Quilt Days at Ramsey House in knoxville. I will be giving
tours of the house and beautiful quilts will be on display. While it's not
andy it's still neat to visit. If you are near our neck of the woods come on
over and say hey.
