That's a great thought...I wonder what's under that blacktop?! Maybe, if it's anything like Opie's controversial newspaper or Barn's magazines (purchased to put a kid through college), they might be better under the pavement. However, just thinking about the outdoor props that might've been junked makes me want to go on a treasure hunt.
