The great thing about the Internet now a days is that you can watch practically
anything if you have a computer. Almost all the TAGS episodes are on YouTube
now. And if you go to IMDB there are tons of movies to watch. Anyways,
getting back to what I started to say, today I was watching cowboy movies
starring Eddie Dean. He was a minor cowboy right after World War II. I was
watching his 1946 movie "Stars Over Texas", and you will never guess who was
playing a peddler in the movie. Right there on main street, selling all kinds
of junk, just like Mr. Haney used to do, was our own Otis. I could not
believe my eyes. He was so slim and trim, but the face was the same. Anyway
if anyone wants to see the very first appearance ever made on film by Hal
Smith, I included a link at the top of this page. Or you can just go to
"IMDB" and type in "Stars Over Texas" to watch Otis. By the way, he was sober
in this movie.

Orville Hendricks - Peddling Butter and Eggs. That is one thing that Mr.
Haney did not peddle, butter and eggs.
