The other day I heard someone on the radio say "extrasensual perception." I immediately thought "that's not right, it should be 'extra sensitive perception.'" I'm so used to hearing Barney say it that way that it seems normal now. (The correct term is actually extrasensory perception).
I also always have to stop myself from saying "compelsion" and "therapetic." You have to admit that compelsion sounds plausible, since a compelsion nut would feel compelled, not compulled.
