Just to clarify, yes Aunt Bee's full name is Beatrice Taylor. In common usage the name Beatrice is often (but not always) shortened to Bea, but on The Andy Griffith Show, Beatrice Taylor's everyday name is always spelled BEE, and never BEA. It's always spelled that way in the credits, and it is spelled that way on screen a few times too, such as the time she went into the restaurant business. "Aunt Bee's Canton Palace" is right there on the window in great big letters.
